The Clinical Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of all clinical operations within the Applied Behavior Analysis center-based program while also providing clinical services for a small caseload. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and evidence-based care to clients, while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for clinical and administrative staff. Key responsibilities include:
· Clinical Implementation of ABA Services- Bill a minimum of 6 hours per day, conduct client functional behavior assessments, write treatment plans, set up client treatment goals in practice management software, conduct norm-referenced assessments (VB-MAPP) and standardized assessments (Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales and others), design and update individualized DTT programs for each client, review client data, review BHT/RBT session notes, write daily session notes for billable sessions, conduct monthly caregiver training for each client, Create a clinical review for each client twice per year .
· Program Oversight- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of ABA programs for all clients by overseeing clinical caseloads of BCBAs and BC-ABAs via clinical consultations.
· Staff Supervision and Development- Supervise up to 10 BHT/RBTs providing services with each client once per week, supervise up to 2 BCBA/BC-ABAs, train staff to implement DTT programs and behavioral interventions, provide positive and corrective feedback to all staff during supervision meetings, and conduct staff trainings as needed.
BCBA's and BC's are Master's-level practitioners who provide and supervise behavior analytic services. Responsibilities include:
Conducting initial and quarterly behavioral assessments and submitting for insurance authorization
Developing treatment plans for maladaptive behavior reduction and skill acquisition
Developing materials necessary to implement the treatment plan
Conducting staff and caregiver training on treatment implementation techniques
On-site supervision of RBTs (minimum of 2 contacts and 5% of RBT's hours per month)
Data collection and analysis
Quarterly reports
Writing daily session notes
Review of RBT session notes
Collaboration with other service providers (if any)
*Note: Behavior Consultant (BC) positions are only available in Pennsylvania since Florida insurance requires the BCBA certification.
Assistant Behavior Consultants are Master's-level practitioners who are pursuing their Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License but need experience hours to complete state licensing requirements. Assistant BC's provide behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in conducting initial and quarterly behavioral assessments and submitting for insurance authorization
Developing treatment plans for maladaptive behavior reduction and skill acquisition
Developing materials necessary to implement the treatment plan
Conducting staff and caregiver training on treatment implementation techniques
Supervise RBT/BHT's
Data collection and analysis
Quarterly reports
Writing daily session notes
Review of RBT session notes
Collaboration with other service providers (if any)
Working one-on-one with clients implementing individualized treatment plans
Attending supervision with BCBA/BC
BCaBA's are Bachelor's-level practitioners who have completed the BACB's coursework and fieldwork supervision requirements and hold an active BCaBA certificate. BCaBA's provide behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA. Responsibilities include:
Conducting initial and quarterly behavioral assessments and submitting for insurance authorization
Developing treatment plans for maladaptive behavior reduction and skill acquisition
Developing materials necessary to implement the treatment plan
Conducting staff and caregiver training on treatment implementation techniques
Supervise RBT/BHT's
Data collection and analysis
Quarterly reports
Writing daily session notes
Review of RBT session notes
Collaboration with other service providers (if any)
RBT's and BHT's are paraprofessionals certified in behavior analysis who assist in delivering behavior analytic services under the supervision of a BCaBA or BCBA. Responsibilities include:
Implementing treatment plans designed by the analyst for maladaptive behavior reduction and skill acquisition
Collaborating with analyst to develop and gather materials necessary to implement the treatment plan
Modeling treatment interventions to caregivers
Being available for on-site weekly supervision (minimum of 2 contacts and 5% of total billing hours per month)
